Benefits of Tea

I thought I should share some facts on the importance and benefits of tea! It’s been my new obsession and perfect for when you’re cozy in bed at night or in the morning. The warmness of the tea can also help a sore throat and allergies. The tea pack I bought comes with several samples of various teas. They’re all good for you and your body.

The first one I tried is the Celestial Seasonings Sleepy Time Tea. It contains no caffeine and zero calories. This herbal tea is made of soothing herbs such as chamomile, cool spearmint, and fresh lemon grass. Chamomile aids in better sleep, can relieve upset stomachs, ease menstrual cramps, and help with colds. Lemon grass is calming, antibacterial, and helps digestion. Lastly, Spearmint improves digestions, contains soothing qualities, and can boost your respiratory system.

The Chamomile packet is similar to the Sleepy Time Tea as it helps with sleep, upset stomachs and menstrual cramps. The Honey Vanilla Chamomile Tea contains flavors of honey and creamy vanilla. This tea is very soothing and relaxing as it is calorie and caffeine free. It can relieve allergy symptoms, helps with anxiety, headaches, nausea, and skin irritation.

One of my favorites, Peppermint Tea, is very fresh and the smell is amazing. I am a big fan of peppermint as it is, so there is no surprise that I love this tea. It also includes astounding benefits such as boosting memory, relieves muscle aches, headaches, helps with dental care, weight loss, and sinus and stress relief. I love drinking it before bed while I’m watching Netflix or just winding down.

The last tea in the packet is the Lemon Zinger. The taste is very “zingy” as the package describes. I think this tea is best for in the morning but it can also be consumed at night as it is caffeine free. It helps with colds/flu, digestive problems, headaches, toothaches, and is very calming.

I hope that you find these benefits helpful and it urges you to drink more tea!! ๐Ÿ™‚
