Skincare Routine That Changed My Life

Hello! I thought I should share some tips to get rid of acne. Everyone’s skin is different so be careful that you are not over drying your face, or making it more oily. I highly recommend finding a good acne spot treatment. The AcneFree Terminator 10 is perfect for getting rid of larges spots. I didn’t see results over night but it does help reduce swelling. If you have acne scars, using this product 3-4 nights a week will decrease redness. Another big, inexpensive product that helps with acne scarring is the Que Bella Professional Repairing charcoal mud mask. I have used this mask for almost a year and I love it! I bought a couple from Target and it was very cheap. One packet can last me up to 3-4 uses. I do wish the packaging was in a container but besides that, it’s amazing.

The next product that is good for your skin is coconut oil! I have noticed a drastic transformation in my skin since I started using it. It has almost completely gotten rid of my acne scars and leaves my skin extremely smooth. Be careful not to use too much if you have oily skin. The last product that has made a major improvement on my skin is the Philosophy Purity face cleanser. It is very gentle and soothing.

Check out my YouTube video down below!!

I hope this post helps you and I will try to post more content often. I just got out of school so I shouldn’t be as busy, besides work.

Drug Store Favorites

Maybelline Lash Sensational Washable Mascaradrugstore favs.jpg

Calling all makeup lovers that LOVE to save money. I wanted to share some affordable beauty products that you can pick up from your local drug store. All of these I purchased from Target but you can most likely find them at Walmart, Walgreen’s, CVS, Ulta, etc. Honestly majority of my makeup is from Target and is pretty inexpensive. As much as I love makeup, I wouldn’t want to spend my whole paycheck on it. Every now and then I’ll splurge on some products.. other than that I like to keep it simple.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circles Treatment Concealer : My holy grail makeup product!!! Seriously guys… this stuff is amazing. It not only covers my under eye dark circles but also any blemishes I have. The coverage feels very light but still hides breakouts. It’s the only concealer I use and I’m working on my fourth product and one product lasts about six months for me. Highly recommend you try it out!

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream : I love BB Cream. It adds just enough coverage without feeling like your makeup is weighing down your face. Although it doesn’t do that well of a job on covering spots. If I have a really bad spot that day, I’ll put the BB cream on to smooth and hydrate my skin, then put concealer over the spot. It’s perfect for the pool with its SPF 30!

Maybelline Lash Sensational Washable Mascara : I just realized most of these items are from Maybelline but they have amazing products, like this mascara. I am VERY picky when it comes to mascara and this is my all time favorite one. It is a dupe of the Better Than Sex mascara and I even like it a little better. I always have trouble finding mascara that keeps the curl of my lashes while increasing the volume and this guy does the job.

Real Techniques Powder Brush : This brush is so soft! I love how the the head is large and applies very smoothly. I also use their beauty blenders and may invest in some more Real Technique brushes.

Maybelline Fit Me Bronzer : To be honest I’ve had this product for a while… I’m not that big of a bronzer person but have started to use it more this summer. It gives me the perfect goddess look while making my face look tanner. The package says it is “Oil Free” and “Doesn’t Clog Pores” which is awesome!

Thank you guys so much for reading 🙂

Review: July Ipsy 2017 Bag

ipsy july bag

I thought I would do another review of my monthly Ipsy bag! I made a post all about my June Ipsy 2017 Bag so go check it out. I can honestly say I love most of these products and use them almost every day. Keep reading if you want the inside scoop on my bag.. lol

One of my favorites in the bag is the TONYMOLY I’m Real Sheet Masks in Green Tea and Lotus. I’ve talked about how much I loved these mask on my June Favorites blog post. It makes my skin extremely smooth and I noticed a difference immediately. I’m determined to try all of the different types of masks!!

The BelláPierre Cosmetics Banana Setting Powder is definitely at the top of my favorite beauty products at the moment. I’ve never really used a setting powder before, just a normal powder by Maybelline. The texture is completely different. One thing I do not like about it, is how messy it is. It can very easily get all over the place and I wish the packaging was better. Other than that, it sets my makeup very nicely and makes my skin smooth.

The eyeshadow in ‘Gold Rush’ by OFRA Cosmetics is simply gorgeous!! It is beautiful for the summer and adds the perfect golden color to my eye lids. I love putting it on the corner of my eye, near the tear duct. I also put one color on my lids, normally a reddish brown, and then apply the goldeny shimmer over it.

Another good product for the summer is the Caudalie Vinosourse Moisturizing Sorbet. I went to a friend’s lake house last weekend and was in the sun majority of the time. You best believe my skin was dry and NEEDED lotion. This moisturizing sorbet is the perfect travel size for small trips like this and definitely hydrated and soothed my skin!

The final product I received is the CiatĂ© London Wonderwand Gel-Kohl Hybrid Liner in Black. Since I almost never wear eye liner as I am not a big of it.. I haven’t tried this product yet.. opps! It does come with one side as a blending/smudging brush which is pretty neat. On Ipsy’s website it says it is “long-wearing” and perfect for an “amazing cat eye” look so I will hopefully try it out soon!

Thank you guys so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed! Plus look how cute the bag is with the egg yolk! Adorable.

Pamper Routine

After a long, stressful day of work or/and school, I need to pamper myself. The first thing I do is get undressed, take off my makeup, and run a bath.

Every once and while I’ll add some candles to create a relaxing atmosphere. Majority of my candles are from Bath and Body Works. One of my favorites at the moment is their Eucalyptus scent. Eucalyptus is perfect for relieving stress and tension. I also use Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy Stress Relief Eucalyptus Spearmint Bath Soak… that’s a mouth full. Occasionally I’ll sprinkle the salts through out my bath. It provides a great sense of comfort. While I’m soaking in the tub, I like to put on a face mask. Because it wouldn’t be a pamper night without a face mask right?! If I’m feeling like it, I’ll add a lip or hair mask as well.

After my bath, I moisturize my body. I always find this so relaxing and a great way to spoil my skin. Once I finish, I slip on my robe and head to my room. On the way there I fix myself some tea, most of the time it’s the Celestial Seasonings Sleepy Time Tea. If you would like to read more about tea, I wrote a whole blog post about all the Benefits of Tea. I take my tea to my room and snuggle in bed with my dog. I either turn on Netflix and binge watch whatever my favorite show is at the moment or watch YouTube. While I’m listening to either one of those, I do a little bit of online shopping (ok maybe a lot). I’ve been loving this app called Ibotta. If you’re a fan of saving money, you should definitely sign up. You can redeem select products and earn cash back! I usually scroll through the site and plan what I need to buy from the grocery.

Well that’s my lazy, pamper routine. Hope you enjoyed reading and go check out my Instagram! Also almost at 200 followers on my blog! Wow thank you everyone. Can’t wait for it to continue to grow 🙂

June Favorites

Hello beauties!! I’m going to talk about a couple of my favorites from the month of June. I use most of these every day and just love them!  Just a warning the word Favorite will be used A LOT.

One of favorites of the month, the Tarte BB Tinted Treatment 12-hour Primer SPF 30, is amazing. It adds just enough coverage without feeling like I have makeup on. I love that it has SPF 30 so I don’t have to worry about protecting my face throughout the day. You can also use it as a primer under foundation or it can be used by itself. The packaging describes is as “healthy treatment, buildable coverage, oil-free moisturizer, pore minimizer, and skin brightener”.  It is definitely my favorite BB cream. Another beauty favorite from this month is EOS Lip Balm. **Beauty hack** It’s supposed to be used as chap-stick but instead I used it as eyebrow gel. It is perfect for when you brush your eyebrows and want something to keep it in place. It’s more affordable than some eye brow gels and works the same.

Another random favorite of mine, that I will be using tonight, is the TONYMOLY I’m Real Brightening Mask Sheet. It brightens my skin making it look radiant and refreshed. I always buy the Brightening mask but the Tea Tree, Aloe, and Rice are amazing as well. Urban Outfitters has a 4 for 10 special, so every time I’m there I pick up a couple.

My all time favorite perfume, Burberry Horseferry House Horseferry road, is no longer on sale. The packaging says limited and I was not able to fine it anywhere on their website. I got it as a Christmas present and use it everyday but I still wanted to include it in my monthly favorites. The person who bought it for me is very special so every time I wear the perfume it reminds me of them. I love when certain scents bring up old memories❤️

My last item is the Gold Debra Necklace from Kendra Scott. Kendra Scott has an amazing deal where you get 50% off any piece from the store…. How cool is that? I may or may not use my family’s discount when it’s their birthday month.. Anyways, I am absolutely in love with it and think it can be paired with so many things. It’s very elegant, classy, and super chic.

That’s all for my monthly favorites! Hope you enjoyed and I will try to do my favorites every month. Thanks for reading and make sure to follow me on Instagram!
